Stop one of the season to kick-off the 2022-2023 Season. We had nine teams weigh in fish today and Keller finished in 6th place out of 38 total schools participating, Keller has a total weight of 18.28# for our top three heaviest bags. We had nine teams that weighed in fish, it was some tough fishing but we are proud of all of our teams competing!

Stop two of the 2022-2023 season was at Lake Ray Roberts, it was a great day of fishing and the weather was too bad. There were 167 teams fishing the THSBA tournament this week, 11 Keller teams weighed in fish! Keller took home the 1st place team trophy today with our top three bags weighing in at 32.14#. Great job team!

Jake Koeninger also took home the Big Bass trophy with a 6.62# fish! There were 176 teams fishing the THSBA tournament and 7 Keller teams weighed in fish!

Stop four of the 2022-2023 season and it was a tough day on the water. The wind blew extremely hard and created ocean like conditions as the day went on, along with near freezing morning temperatures. Parts of the lake still had ice built up back in the rivers and coves. Keller had 7 teams out of 171 weigh in fish today, Keller finished up 3rd out of 43 high schools competing with our top three bags weighing in at 17.52#. I'm pretty sure that everyone was ready to get off the water at the end of the day. Keller is in contention for winning Team of the Year, we are taking one tournament at a time!

Next up is our last open tournament of the year at Lake Lewisville!
Stop five of the 2022-2023 season and it was a tough but great day for Keller. Keller to home our third win of the season and swept both Lewisville tournaments this year. Keller finished in 1st place out of 32 total teams with our top three bags weighing in at 38.13#, we had 5 teams weigh in fish out of 150 teams total. It was tough conditions for most of our teams but Keller fought tough and came away with the third win of the year. With that being said, Keller also clinched the Team of the Year title once again!!! Keller also will be sending 7 teams to the THSBA Regional Tournament at Lake Ray Roberts on April 15, 2023 where we will go up against two other divisions competing for Team Regional Champs and State Championship Qualification.

Next up is Regionals at Lake Ray Roberts 4/15/2023
Well, it was a good day for Keller at Lake Ray Roberts competing in the THSBA Regional Tournament to qualify for THSBA State Championship at Lake Sam Rayburn next month. Keller finished up with a solid 2nd place finish out of 90 teams total from North/West/Metro Divisions of THSBA, Keller's top three bags weighed in at 40.18#. Keller had all 7 teams weigh in fish out of 277 teams competing. Keller has 4 teams that are advancing to the THSBA State Championship at Lake Sam Rayburn in June!
Congrats to Cole Metz & Ty Wagner on your 1st place finish with a 5 fish limit weighing in at 21.61# and Cole had a 7.95# kicker!!!

First tournament of the 2020-2021 season for our KVB anglers. It was a bit of a windy day for sure and a little slow going. With a total of 208 teams fishing this tournament, our anglers managed an overall 2nd place finish for the team and the team of Hunt & O'Neill making the top 5!! Way to go!!

Another windy Saturday for our team and the whole division on PK! There were 213 teams fishing with THSBA and a major catfish tournament going on at the same time! Keller had 21 of the 24 teams fishing 12 teams brought in fish to weigh. Salvador Macias brought in the BIG BASS for the tournament and walked away with a new pair of Costa sunglasses and plaque for his efforts! The team of Nix & Shaw brought in 12.38 giving them a spot in the top 10 for the day. Great job!

Another fun Saturday for our team Lake Whitney! There were 200 teams fishing in this THSBA West Division Tournament. Keller had 21 teams fishing and 12 teams brought in fish to weigh. The team of Koeninger & Reber brought in 12.89 giving them a spot in the top 5 for the day. Overall Keller Bass Team came in First Place for the day. Great job!

It was a cold morning, but gorgeous afternoon Saturday at Ray Roberts. Tough day of fishing for most teams after super cold winter weather we had just weeks prior. There were 183 teams fishing this THSBA tournament and overall only 65 teams weighed fish. Keller had 22 teams fishing and 5 teams brought in fish to weigh. Those that caught fish found some big'uns! The team of Hunt & O'Neill brought in 10.54 giving them a spot in the top 10 for the day. Great job!

Keller Bass had their best outing yet of the season at Lewisville. We had more teams weigh in and finished the tournament 2nd overall with a total of 27 fish for 62.29 lbs. The team of Blakeman and Healy led the charge with 5 fish totaling 12.86 lbs finishing 7th overall!

Lake Texoma - 2/14/2020
It was a cold, windy, and rough day at Texoma this year. Finished the day in 3rd overall with 9.82lbs. Canfield & Summers finished 11th, Hixon & Neal 15th, and Fox & McElwee in 30th place overall. Proud of our group as they hung in till the end and then came in for a warm bowl of chili and some stories!
